Navigation Data Interface Unit
NDIU
The Navigation Data Interface Unit receives 8-string navigation data and converts it into 1 Hz and 10 Hz outputs. An aluminium enclosure houses three output ports and an additional PCB selected through the front panel.

Operating Procedure
- Connect power and input/output cables to the rear-panel cable-mount connectors.
- Check the fuse and replace it if blown or broken.
- Connect the earth terminal to the ship earth connection.
- Move the power switch lever upwards to switch on the unit.
- The power LED illuminates and data is available at Output 1 (1 Hz) and Outputs 2 and 3 (10 Hz).
- If PCB 1 is not working, select PCB 2 using the front-panel selector switch.
